? WE’RE HIRING: SHOP MANAGER / SUPERVISOR
Location: Angela’s Ice Cream – Noe Valley, San Francisco
Type: Full-time, Hourly + Tips
? About Us
Angela’s is a new, locally owned ice cream shop in the heart of Noe Valley — a joyful space where California creativity meets Argentine warmth. We handcraft small-batch ice creams and are now launching a coffee and pastry program that celebrates local flavor, artistry, and community.
We’re looking for a hands-on, reliable, and creative Shop Manager to lead our daily operations, build our team, and help us grow a neighborhood favorite.
? The Role
As our Shop Manager / Supervisor, you’ll be the heartbeat of Angela’s — running the day-to-day operations, ensuring quality, and shaping our guest experience. You’ll also help design and launch our new coffee and pastry menu, bringing your ideas and leadership to every scoop, sip, and smile.
? Key Responsibilities
Operations & Leadership
Open and close the shop; manage daily operations and cash handling.
Supervise and motivate the front-of-house team with positivity and professionalism.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation at all times.
Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies, ice cream, pastries, and coffee.
Customer Experience
Deliver warm, upbeat, genuine hospitality.
Handle guest requests and feedback with care.
Set the tone for excellent service every day.
Coffee & Pastry Program Launch
Collaborate with ownership to design and roll out our new menu.
Train staff in espresso drinks, pastry presentation, and service standards.
Bring creative ideas that match Angela’s brand and vibe.
Team Development
Support hiring, training, and scheduling.
Model reliability, honesty, and teamwork.
Ensure compliance with labor and food safety laws.
? What We’re Looking For
2+ years of café, ice cream, or hospitality management experience.
A trustworthy leader with high ethical standards.
A creative problem-solver who brings positive energy to the team.
Comfortable working hands-on alongside staff.
Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain).
? Compensation & Schedule
Full-time, hourly position (35–40 hrs/week)
Hourly pay + tips (DOE)
Eligible for overtime under SF labor law.
Mix of morning, afternoon, and weekend shifts.
Growth potential and performance-based raises.
