Job Description

SUMMARY:

The Restoration Technician Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and executing emergency mitigation and remediation services, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance. This leadership role plays a critical part in monitoring daily field operations, managing crews, and maintaining accurate job documentation from start to finish. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering superior customer service while upholding industry best practices and company standards.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Respond to emergency services (tarp, board-up, and water mitigation) both during and after normal business hours. Ability to lift and move equipment and mitigation materials 50 pounds or more.
  • Follow IEP mold remediation protocols and review estimate and engineered controls for abatement.
  • Supervise and support technicians in the field to ensure efficient and safe completion of projects.
  • Provides quality control on all emergency service mitigation jobs.
  • Ensure compliance with IICRC S500 and S520 guidelines, as well as company procedures and safety standards.
  • Photo documentation both digital and infrared imaging.
  • Monitors equipment and material inventories.
  • Contacts customers via phone and email.
  • Contacts new emergencies and assignments to gather pertinent data from customers.
  • Maintain professional communication with customers, estimators, and insurance adjusters.
  • Track and report on water mitigation data and daily project progress to the Emergency Services Supervisor.
  • Tracks water mitigation data.
  • Ability to accurately sketch the mitigation area.
  • Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
 
  • Ability to multitask and deliver results under pressure.
  • Ability to access a multitude of different water damage situations.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, mentor, and guide field technicians.
  • Create and implement drying plans.
  • Calculate GPP and properly document drying conditions.
  • Ability to operate thermal imaging equipment and hygrometers.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including ability to use tablets, Excel, and job management software
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability to perform this job successfully:
  • High School diploma.
  • 2+ years experience in the water, fire & mold restoration industry.
  • IICRC certifications WRT & AMRT (preferred), FSRT & ASD (preferred).
  • Proven ability to assess complex water, and mold damage situations and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
