RF Cable Test Technician (Secure Federal Facility – Y-12) Oak Ridge, TN | W2 Project Assignment | Starts November 10, 2025 We’re seeking an experienced RF Cable Test Technician to support a large-scale coax cable validation project at the Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, TN. This project includes sweeping, testing, and documenting over 500 coax cables across multiple buildings within a highly secure federal facility. Technicians will perform RF sweep testing, verify and replace connectors as needed, and record all results according to strict QA/QC standards. This role requires precision, reliability, and the ability to work under federal security and safety protocols (no personal electronics allowed on site). Phase 1 begins November 10, 2025 (2 weeks), followed by Phase 2 starting early 2026 (up to 6 months). Competitive hourly rate, consistent schedule (Mon–Fri, 8–5), and all required Bechtel site training provided. Must be a U.S. citizen eligible for security clearance, with 2+ years of RF/coax testing experience.
