Job Description
A company is looking for a Medical Benefit Plan Document Writer to create and maintain medical benefit plan documents.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and maintain various medical benefit plan documents, ensuring compliance with federal legislationSubmit completed documents within Service Level Agreement timeframes and collaborate with internal customersResearch inquiries and maintain accurate data across platforms while ensuring quality and compliance in documentationRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a healthcare or benefits TPA setting3+ years of experience as a Plan Document Writer or Technical Writer for medical benefits documentsFamiliarity with different types of Plan Documents: SBC, SPD, BPD, SMM, and SMRKnowledge of medical procedure terminology preferredSolid working knowledge of standard computer applications including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
