Position Summary: We are seeking qualified candidates for the role of Registered Nurse-ASC at varying levels (I, II,III,IV). The selected candidate will be placed at the appropriate level based on qualifications and experience. All levels contribute to patient care under the supervision of licensed medical professionals, with increasing responsibilities at higher levels. Primary Responsibilities: Registered Nurse-ASC I: Provide nursing care to patients in an assigned unit. Possesses knowledge and skills to meet nursing standards for professional practice specified in Texas Nurse Practice Act with supervision. Provide patient care through nursing-based practices upon the American Nurses Association Standards of Professional Practice and Professional Performance. Values specialty unit, nursing, and institutional strategic initiatives and health system goals Registered Nurse-ASC II: Same duties as Registered Nurse ASC-I Demonstrate a proficiency in delivering high quality age specific patient care Develop effective working relationships with all members of the ASC and Clinic Communicate information effectively, appropriately, and with courtesy regarding patient conditions to those who require the information including physicians, anesthesia, management, staff, patients, families, and visitors Perform safe and competent nursing care according to the organization’s policy
