Position Summary
As a Runner at Kassi, you’ll play a key role in ensuring exceptional service by delivering food and beverages quickly and accurately, assisting servers and bussers, and maintaining a clean and organized dining room.
Responsibilities:
- Run food and beverages to guests promptly and accurately
- Describe dishes to guests, including ingredients and potential allergens
- Assist in clearing tables and resetting for new guests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining and service areas
- Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management
- Uphold all safety and sanitation standards
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment
Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements:
- Completion of company in-venue runner training
- Valid Food Handling Certificate (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Previous hospitality experience preferred
- Previous food running experience preferred
- Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant, nightclub, or lounge preferred
- Must be able to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods of time
- Must be able to bend and lift up to 50 lbs
- Role may include duties requiring repetitive motion
- Comfortable working around hot kitchen equipment and cleaning materials
- Must be able to work and remain focused in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
