Sales Engineer for MSP supporting SMBs

Services include: IT Support and Engineering spanning Systems, Networks, Applications, Cloud and Cyber Security

Core Responsibilities

Collaborate with the sales team
Provide technical expertise and support during the sales cycle
Meet with clients (onsite, video, phone)
Identifying clients needs
Design and present tailored solutions
Bridge the gap between the technical and sales teams, ensuring client needs are fully understood and met with the appropriate solutions.
Ensure a smooth handoff to the service delivery team during the transition from from pre-sales to onboarding
Documentation
Provide excellent customer service
Have Fun

Skills & Experience

Strong understanding of IT infrastructure (networking, servers, virtualization, cloud, firewalls, and backup solutions).
Tier 3 Advanced Support Skills
AD management, Server upgrades, MS Exchange support
O365, Azure, VMware, SQL, DNS, DHCP, etc.
ConnectWise RMM, PSA, CPQ
Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and tools (EDR, MFA, security audits)
Presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
2 years or more experience in managed services
Stability and proven success in current and previous position(s)
