Sales Manager – Metal Fabrication / Manufacturing Location: Fremont, IN Pay: $70,000 – $80,000 per year (DOE) + company bonus structure Schedule: Full-time Job Summary A well-established metal fabrication manufacturer in Fremont, IN is seeking a skilled and motivated Sales Manager to lead its sales department and support continued growth across key markets. This position is ideal for a results-driven professional with a strong understanding of fabricated metal products, industrial sales processes, and customer relationship management. The Sales Manager will work closely with operations and production teams to develop pricing strategies, execute marketing plans, and ensure customer satisfaction from quote to delivery. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve company revenue and growth goals. Build and maintain long-term relationships with industrial and OEM customers. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify new opportunities. Create and manage quotations, proposals, and pricing structures that align with company profitability objectives. Lead and mentor the internal sales support team, ensuring strong communication and performance. Collaborate with operations and production to ensure on-time delivery and quality performance. Monitor and report on sales metrics, forecasts, and department performance. Represent the company in a professional manner while promoting its products and capabilities. Key Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 5+ years of industrial or manufacturing sales experience, including at least 1 year in a management role. Strong knowledge of metal fabrication or steel tank manufacturing processes. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and understand production capabilities. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales and margin goals. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools. A willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events as needed.
