Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to support our growth in the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) sector across the Pacific Northwest. This role will assist in managing regional accounts, driving sales initiatives, and supporting the execution of strategic plans to expand market share and strengthen customer relationships.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Execution & Support
  • Assist in managing key retail and distributor accounts across the Pacific Northwest.
  • Support the development and execution of regional sales strategies aligned with national goals.
  • Monitor sales performance, identify growth opportunities, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Customer Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners, brokers, and distributors.
  • Provide timely support and solutions to customer inquiries and issues.
  • Participate in joint business planning and promotional execution.
  • Market & Competitive Analysis
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and consumer behavior to inform strategy.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve product positioning and sales performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure alignment and execution.
  • Assist in coordinating trade shows, regional events, and customer meetings.
  • Reporting & Forecasting
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance dashboards.
  • Support budget planning and ROI analysis for trade spend and promotional activities.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales or account management, preferably in CPG or retail.
  • Strong understanding of the Pacific Northwest retail landscape.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel within the region (up to 50%).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with grocery, mass, c-store or club channels.
  • Expertise in managing and growing regional grocery accounts, including Albertsons, Winco, URM, Associated, and UNFI.
  • Knowledge of Perishable, Center Store, and Front-End areas is preferred.
  • Familiarity with syndicated data tools (e.g., Nielsen, IRI).
  • Prior experience supporting broker networks or distributor relationships.


Pay range for this position is $85,000 to $120,000 depending on experience, location and territory.

There is also a potential for a discretionary bonus this bonus is based on personal & company performance and is not a guaranteed bonus plan.
