Job Description
Vineyard Brands seeks an Upstate New York Sales Manager to report to the SVP, Regional Manager NY/NJ/PA. The role requires residency and a home office strategically based in Upstate NY. This is a coveted career opportunity with one of America's most respected fine wine importers and has not been available for nearly 20 years.
Primary Responsibilities
ALLDrive sales and distribution goals by managing all aspects of the Upstate NY distributor.
Sell the VB portfolio to key retail, restaurant, hotel/country club, and national accounts.
Build and sustain strong relationships with distributor management and sales teams.
Execute and track sales and distribution strategies across all channels. 
Forecast sales, manage inventory, and align pricing/programs with the Regional Manager.
Partner with the distributor to grow market share and build VB brands.
Lead in-store tastings, wine dinners, and other trade events.
Host sales meetings and product trainings to educate and motivate our distributor teams.
Coordinate and drive productive market visits with VB suppliers.
Collaborate with VB and distributor National Accounts team to maximize programs.
Desired Skills & Experience
Minimum 5 years of proven wine sales success in Upstate NY with an importer or distributor.
A well-established network of key retail and on-premise accounts.
Goal oriented self-starter with a positive attitude; works effectively both independently and in teams.
Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills; adaptable to dynamic environments.
Ability to independently plan, manage and execute all business operations, including distributor management, sales, budgeting and resources/time allocation.
Deep knowledge and passion for international fine wine; committed to continuous learning.
Skilled at analyzing sales and distribution data to identify opportunities and drive results.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and Diver.
