Salesforce Technical Architect - Health Cloud, OmniStudio & Group Quoting at Perficient

Perficient is actively seeking an experienced Salesforce Health Cloud Architect to join our team and contribute to our growing Salesforce practice. As an Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions on the Salesforce platform, with a strong focus on Health Cloud, OmniStudio, and Group Quoting. This role requires deep technical expertise, hands-on development experience, and the ability to lead technical teams and guide clients through complex healthcare and insurance implementations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the technical design and architecture of Salesforce solutions with a focus on Health Cloud, OmniStudio, and Group Quoting capabilities.
• Translate healthcare and insurance business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performance Salesforce solutions.
• Provide technical leadership across all phases of the project lifecycle: discovery, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Develop and maintain architectural documentation, including data models, integration diagrams, and solution blueprints.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define integration strategies with external systems (e.g., EHR, claims platforms).
• Guide development teams on OmniStudio best practices, performance optimization, and technical troubleshooting.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to Salesforce development standards.
• Support pre-sales activities including technical assessments, solutioning, and client presentations.
• Mentor junior developers and architects, fostering technical growth and knowledge sharing.
• Stay current with Salesforce platform updates, emerging technologies, and healthcare industry trends.
• Leverage AI tools and capabilities to enhance solution design, development efficiency, and data-driven decision-making.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce development and architecture.
• Proven experience implementing Salesforce Health Cloud and OmniStudio in complex environments.
• Strong understanding of Group Quoting processes and configuration within Salesforce.
• Expertise in Salesforce platform architecture, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, and APIs.
• Experience with Salesforce integration patterns and tools (e.g., MuleSoft, REST/SOAP APIs).
• Deep knowledge of healthcare and insurance processes such as patient engagement, care coordination, and quoting.
• Demonstrated success in leading technical teams and delivering enterprise-grade Salesforce solutions.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices in Salesforce environments.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support data-informed task execution.
• Familiarity with AI-enhanced platforms is a plus.
• A solid understanding of AI capabilities and limitations including ethical considerations is expected.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Salesforce certifications such as Application Architect, System Architect, or Technical Architect are highly preferred.
• Health Cloud and OmniStudio certifications are a big plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $92,118 to $202,730.
