SANITATION RUNS ON 2ND SHIFT WITH APPROXIMATE WORK HOURS OF 2PM TO 11PM.
- Manage department ensuring on-time plant start-up.
- Mentor, supervise and motivate sanitation team members, providing training and development to optimize performance and personal growth.
- Ensure adherence to regulations related to safety, security, GMP, sanitation, discipline, etc.
- Communicate performance standards to team, recognizing and rewarding individual and team accomplishments while also counseling performance issues.
- Develop and maintain a relationship with team, promoting company values, good attendance, and work ethic.
- Manage labor and supply costs.
- Manage chemical and water usage.
- All other relevant duties to the job.
- High School Diploma or GED required, College Degree in Business Management, Animal Science, Poultry Science or related field preferred.
- 3+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing environment, preferably in poultry or meat processing.
- 3+ years sanitation experience in a manufacturing environment required.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient computer and analytical skills.
- Detail oriented.
