Volt is immediately hiring for a Production Sanitor in Pomona, California.

As a Production Sanitor you will:

• Performs cleaning activities including but not limited to, sweeping, mopping floors, sanitizing machinery, cleaning of conveyors, surface areas and other areas deemed appropriate.
• Efficiently and effectively disassembles and reassembles production equipment, as necessary.
• Uses hot water and approved chemicals including corrosive chemicals, foaming, and other cleaning agents to safely clean and sanitize rooms, machinery, and other production equipment.
• Oversee the proper storage, labeling, and handling/use of all cleaning supplies, chemicals and disinfecting equipment.
• Ensures inventory of all cleaning equipment and alerts Supervisor when any supplies are needed.
• Compliance to GMP, Food Safety, Food Defense and Food Quality regulations as required by the company
• Compliance to all employee job safety requirements and regulations
• Performs other duties as assigned

This is a Full-Time opportunity.

Shift :: Monday – Friday, 3rd shift - 8:00pm to 4:30am

The ideal candidate will:

• Willing to work weekends/OT/ Holidays when needed
• Previous experience in Food/Beverage
• STRONG knowledge of food sanitation
• Bilingual - Spanish (preferred)
• Required use of Lock-out/Tag-out safety protocols.
• 6 months minimum of experience to a year in Sanitation
• Must have experience working with squeegee, chemicals, Dairy hose, & broom
• Able to climb stairs & work at heights from platform

Pay rate: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
