Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Scale House Attendant to join our team at the Transfer Station. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the scale operations, ensuring accurate weight measurements, and providing excellent customer service to all visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate the scale and accurately record weights of incoming and outgoing vehicles.

- Collect and process payments for services rendered.

- Maintain accurate records of transactions and vehicle information.

- Provide information and assistance to customers regarding facility operations and regulations.

- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

- Monitor the flow of traffic and assist in directing vehicles as needed.

- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the scale house and surrounding areas.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations.

Skills and Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Previous experience in a customer service role preferred.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Basic computer skills and familiarity with data entry.

- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations is a plus.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
