Position: Senior Account Manager - Commercial P&C
Location: Torrance, CA (Hybrid - once a week onsite)
Hours: 9:00am - 5:30pm
Classification: Exempt, Full-Time, Direct Hire

A global commercial insurance broker is seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to join its Property & Casualty (P&C) department. The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of approximately 15 complex corporate accounts, leveraging in-depth Property & Casualty insurance knowledge to deliver strategic solutions, ensure client satisfaction, and drive account retention.

Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end property and casualty insurance renewal process for mid-to-large corporate clients, ensuring timely and accurate execution of all renewal activities.
Develop and implement strategic insurance programs, including market analysis, risk assessment, and cost optimization strategies.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering professional guidance, presentations, and recommendations tailored to their business needs.
Manage complex risk portfolios, including multi-line coverage, layered programs, and specialized exposures.
Negotiate terms, conditions, and premiums with insurance carriers to achieve optimal solutions for clients.
Collaborate with internal teams, including account managers, Customer Service Specialists, to coordinate data collection, risk evaluation, and policy structuring.
Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and market conditions to proactively advise clients on risk management strategies and insurance solutions.
Maintain strong client relationships, visiting for a meeting, providing ongoing support, education, and guidance throughout the policy lifecycle.
Ensure compliance with internal procedures, client requirements, and insurance regulations.
Assist with prospective client meetings and presentations.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial insurance, with a focus on Property & Casualty (P&C).
Active P&C license required.
Extensive knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance, including complex corporate accounts, multi-line programs, and specialized risk exposures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Proficiency in MS Office and insurance management systems.

The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
