Are you a seasoned legal professional with a passion for labor and employment law? Our firm is seeking a Senior Labor & Employment Associate to join our dynamic team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on complex and high-profile cases, providing expert advice and representation to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the legal field, with a strong focus on labor and employment law. Experience with separation agreements and non-competition agreements is essential. This role offers a competitive compensation package and the opportunity to work with a team of experienced and dedicated legal professionals.

Responsibilities

As a Permanent Senior Labor & Employment Associate, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Providing expert legal advice to clients on a wide range of labor and employment matters, including separation agreements and non-competition agreements.
2. Representing clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
3. Conducting thorough and detailed legal research to support case preparation.
4. Counseling employers regarding compliance with state and federal laws governing employee rights
5. Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients.
6. Collaborating with a team of legal professionals to develop strategies for complex cases.
7. Staying updated on current laws and regulations related to labor and employment law.
8. Mentoring junior associates and contributing to the firm's knowledge base.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Senior Labor & Employment Associate position will possess the following qualifications:

1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in labor and employment law.
3. Demonstrated experience with separation agreements and non-competition agreements.
4. Admission to the state bar.
5. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
9. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
10. High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
