A company is looking for a Senior Controller on a temporary contract basis.Key ResponsibilitiesManage daily financial operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll for US and Canadian entitiesEnsure timely month-end and year-end closing processes, prepare financial statements, and oversee tax compliance activitiesConduct a review of existing finance processes, identify inefficiencies, and draft a strategic roadmap for the finance departmentRequired Qualifications10+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a Controller or Senior Finance leadership roleExperience managing full-cycle accounting and reporting for multiple countries, specifically the US and CanadaStrong knowledge of US GAAP and familiarity with Canadian GAAP/IFRSProven experience in both tactical execution and strategic oversight in a hands-on roleExceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, capable of managing a team in a high-pressure environment
