Join TechSource the Advanced Sources and Detector (ASD) Project team to support the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of a ~20 MeV linear induction accelerator, known as Scorpius, used in subcritical experiments at the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS). Work closely with multi-lab teams and vendors on advanced electrical engineering for accelerator systems.
- Act as senior electrical engineer and team lead
- Provide daily technical guidance and mentorship to engineers
- Ensure adherence to design engineering procedures and best practices
- Lead high-level design reviews, testing, and system optimization
- Master's degreeideal in Engineering + 12 years experience, bachelors required
- Extensive experience with complex industrial electrical systems and AutoCAD Electrical
- Proven leadership and mentoring experience in technical teams
- Deep understanding of NEC, UL, and industrial safety standards
- Any ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q security clearance
Preferred Qualifications for Both Levels
- Experience with linear induction accelerators
- Prior work at NNSA-designated laboratories
- Familiarity with high-radiation or high-voltage environments
