JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Project Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all field activities, including organization, management, and execution of work, as well as leading, motivating, and overseeing all aspects of the planning, implementation, and completion of electrical projects.

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Ensure that the Short Interval Construction schedule is properly utilized to control job costs.
- Establish a good relationship with the general contractor.
- Provide technical assistance as needed, including interpreting drawings and recommending construction methods, equipment, and related solutions.
- Assist Project Managers in developing and implementing project procedures, working documents, standards, etc.
- Ensure, with superintendents, that all on-site personnel comply with project procedures, work rules, etc.
- Document all violations, notify Project Management, and recommend/implement corrective actions as required.
- Maintain familiarity with plans, specifications, scope, and contracts.
- Attend job scheduling and coordination meetings as required to observe, monitor, and detect any potential problems that may be developing.
- Monitor and document the progress of the job as required.
- Direct or implement solutions to ensure the project is being constructed within budget.
- Support superintendents with current and accurate information as required.
- Assist other field leaders in establishing an action plan for maximizing the quantity and quality of work performed.
- Track the materials to know which materials are on-site, on order, or back-ordered. Determine an action plan for any critical items that are on backorder.
- Ensure job site housekeeping complies with contract requirements.
- Monitors discipline construction productivity, progress, and cost and reports to the Supervisor.
- Apply knowledge of National Electrical Codes as needed.
- Assist with electrical system installation, troubleshooting, and repair as needed.
- Ensure all installations meet quality and electrical code standards.
- Monitor and resolve matters relating to work procedures, complaints, damages, accidents, and delays.
- Confer with other field leaders, technical personnel, other departments, and contractors to resolve problems and coordinate activities.
- Ensure all company safety measures and regulations are followed and enforce the use of safety equipment when required.
- Participate in safety/incident investigations and reviews.
- Participate in the review and processing of contracts for construction with general contractors with emphasis on work scope.
- Participate in project turnover, project startup, and project percent complete meetings.
- Participate in the preparation of the project closeout package and turnover with the general contractor.
- Participate in the Tri-City close-out meetings.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position directly supervises employees and carries out supervisory responsibilities per the organization's policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Knowledge of basic mathematical operations and calculations (e.g., addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, order of operations) to calculate labor, materials, and/or cost estimates for projects and work orders, etc.
- Must have the ability to effectively read, write, and communicate in the English language at a 12th-grade level.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of construction management and/or craft supervision experience in similar facility construction or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods), negotiations, engineering, cost control schedules, and safety.
- Expert working knowledge of National Electrical Codes.
- Must have excellent communication skills, strong leadership skills, and a strong safety background.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
- Must possess a valid Florida Driver's license in good standing to meet the company's driving requirements.
- High School Diploma or GED.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Active Florida Journeyman or Master Electrician License
- Bilingual
- Four (4) year Engineering Degree
- Intermediate experience with Accubid, Bluebeam, Autodesk, Raken, and PlanGrid
- OSHA 30

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- General Office Environment: This position operates in a professional office environment, using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, etc.
- Environmental Conditions:
The work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled setting with minimal exposure to loud noise, temperature variations, or other environmental factors.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout the day.
- Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina.
- Ability to wear company-approved Personal Protective Equipment per local, state, federal, or OSHA regulations.
- The employee must frequently lift and move items over 50 pounds.
- Requires the ability to perform physical duties listed above for extended periods.
- Sitting/Standing: Requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, though there may be opportunities for standing and moving around the office as needed.
- Manual Dexterity: Frequent use of hands to operate computer keyboards, mouse, and other office tools, as well as to handle paperwork.
- Visual Requirements: The ability to read and interpret data on computer screens and printed documents is essential.
- Mobility: Occasional lifting of objects weighing up to 25 pounds, such as files, documents, or office supplies, may be requested. Must be able to access all areas of the facility and projects to determine purchasing needs.
- Communication: Regular communication with colleagues, vendors, and other stakeholders requires the ability to exchange information effectively in both verbal and written form.
TRAVEL REQUIRED:
- Requires the ability to report to job sites or offices throughout Florida.
- May be requested to work overtime, nights, and weekends.
