Purpose:

The Senior Financial Analyst supports the Company’s financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions. This role works independently and proactively to analyze financial data, develop insights, and recommend solutions that drive the Company’s goals and strategic objectives. The Senior Financial Analyst partners with leaders across departments to deliver meaningful financial insights and support data-driven decision-making.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Proactively gather, review, and analyze financial and operational results to understand business performance, identify key variances and opportunities.
  • Analyze complex financial data and present clear, concise summaries and insights for a range of audiences, including senior leadership.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to Finance and functional leaders to support both short and long-term business decisions.
  • Maintain and update the company’s financial forecast, performing regular variance and trend analyses to improve accuracy and visibility.
  • Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting, including preparation of materials for Business Performance Review (BPR) meetings and quarterly board meetings.
  • Partner with departmental leaders in monthly Cost Center Review (CCR) meetings to review performance against budget and forecast, offering insight into key drivers of variances.
  • Assist in the development and analysis of the annual budget, collaborating with business partners to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Prepare and update financial proformas and models to evaluate business performance, including pre- and post-acquisition analysis of M&A activity.
  • Analyze financial performance versus budget and forecast, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities for operational or strategic improvement.
  • Develop ad hoc financial models, reports, and analyses as requested to support business and leadership needs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) or Accounting, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong working knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Proven problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • High degree of professionalism, integrity, and discretion with sensitive financial information.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Education: Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting

Experience: 5+ years in accounting or finance
