JOB TITLE: Senior HCM Workday Consultant JOB LOCATION: St. Petersburg, FL WAGE RANGE*: $90-96/hr. JOB NUMBER: 36564299 REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: 8+ Years Workday HCM experience Technical Experience Workday Expertise: Advanced configuration experience with Workday HCM and Security functions (required). HR Systems: Proven experience in HR systems administration, production support, and optimization JOB DESCRIPTION Job Summary The Senior HCM Workday Consultant leads the design, implementation, and ongoing optimization of the HR production system, Workday, with a primary focus on Core HCM. This role is responsible for managing the production support team, ensuring seamless integration across HR functions, and driving operational excellence through strategy, governance, and process improvement. Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic LeadershipDevelop and implement strategies for Workday HR functions, anticipating complex challenges and aligning solutions with broader organizational goals. Act as a strategic advisor for Workday HCM initiatives, providing expertise on system configuration, security, and integration. Program & Project ManagementLead governance and delivery of large-scale HR technology projects using best-practice project management methodologies. Oversee the development and approval of project plans, ensuring milestones, deliverables, and resources are aligned. Define clear roles and responsibilities across project and production support teams, maintaining compliance with organizational standards. Stakeholder EngagementIdentify and manage stakeholders across all levels of the organization. Develop and execute stakeholder engagement and communication plans to ensure transparency, alignment, and adoption. Subject Matter ExpertiseServe as a Workday HCM and HR technology expert, staying current on new features, compliance requirements, and industry best practices. Represent HR technology functions in cross-functional initiatives and governance discussions. Capability DevelopmentEvaluate and enhance team capabilities to meet evolving business needs. Lead continuous improvement efforts to increase efficiency, system reliability, and user satisfaction. Required Skills & CompetenciesDemonstrated ability to plan and prioritize work to meet strategic objectives. Strong accountability and commitment to deliver high-quality outcomes. Proven ability to anticipate and balance stakeholder needs while driving alignment. Expertise in process optimization and continuous improvement. Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical audiences. Strong leadership with the ability to delegate effectively and remove obstacles for team success. Proficiency in risk assessment, project estimation, and workflow design. Ability to interpret complex data and provide insights to support decision-making. Experience developing and managing project management frameworks, governance models, and compliance processes. EducationBachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
