SENIOR IT INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER One of our financial clients in NYC is seeking a senior-level IT Infrastructure Engineer working in a large-scale technology environment with platforms including Linux, AIX, and z/OS Mainframes. This position is senior-level to oversee the day-to-day operations of the team. The responsibilities will include the computer systems, subsystems, storage, and programming products. You must have 15+ years of experience in these environments and be able to work in the office in NYC 5 days per week. Ensure that the Mainframe team works together as a team and also within the enterprise to ensure that the systems remain available according to the SLA. •Provide a leadership role in z/OS administration, performance management, hardware configuration, and implementation of mainframe technologies and DR solution for the agency. •Oversee the daily operations and ensure that it is monitored and issues are escalated. •Research and implement strategic solutions related to mainframe systems. •Analyze performance and capacity data. •Perform daily, monthly, and yearly performance and capacity planning for the mainframe systems.
