Job Description
Process Improvement & Supply Chain Analyst (Warehouse & 3PL Operations)
We’re looking for a Process Improvement & Supply Chain Analyst who knows what *real* logistics work looks like — high volume, tight SLAs, shifting priorities, and the constant push for faster, cleaner, cheaper operations. If you’re comfortable in a warehouse, fluent in WMS data, and confident improving labor, flow, and throughput, you’ll be a key driver of performance across our network.
What You’ll Do
Track daily logistics KPIs — throughput, productivity, accuracy, order cycle times — and flag issues before they become problems.
Dig into WMS/operational data to uncover performance trends, cost drivers, and service risks.
Work directly with Ops, Customer Service, and Account Management to keep quoting, capacity planning, and labor allocations accurate.
Build and maintain SOPs that tighten process control, reduce variability, and support safe, repeatable execution.
Identify bottlenecks and waste; lead CI projects targeting labor efficiency, material flow, pick/pack optimization, and dock performance.
Support slotting strategies, layout improvements, labor models, and engineered standards that increase throughput without adding cost.
Partner with Finance to validate cost impacts and ROI on process changes, equipment upgrades, or layout adjustments.
Assist with warehouse design efforts — layouts, racking configurations, flow paths, MHE selection, and storage optimization.
Build dashboards and reporting packages that make operational trends obvious to both local leadership and customers.
Drive change management: training, documentation, rollout, and stabilization of improved workflows or systems.
Help implement and optimize material handling systems, WMS functionality, and productivity tools.
Conduct audits, time studies, and root-cause analyses to support operational discipline and performance improvement.
Support cross-functional logistics projects with clear timelines, business cases, and measurable outcomes.
What You Bring
Deep understanding of warehouse and 3PL operations — inbound, outbound, inventory control, labor planning, flow, and customer requirements.
Experience working directly with WMS data (queries, extracts, performance analysis).
Ability to translate operational issues into practical, scalable solutions.
Strong process-mapping and SOP creation skills.
CAD or layout-planning tools preferred.
Knowledge of MHE, racking systems, slotting concepts, and general warehouse design principles.
Comfortable communicating with hourly associates, supervisors, and executives.
Strong multitasking skills; thrives in high-velocity fulfillment environments.
CI background (Lean, Six Sigma, PDCA, Kaizen) is a plus.
Experience in WMS, LMS/engineered standards, fulfillment analytics, or 3PL customer-facing work is highly desirable.
Experience & Education
2–5 years in warehouse, distribution, fulfillment, or 3PL operations (no manufacturing required).
Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or related — or equivalent hands-on experience.
Equal Opportunity Employer / Disabled / Protected Veterans
