Senior M&A and Private Equity Counsel at Aionios LLC

A nationally recognized corporate law practice is seeking an experienced transactional attorney to join its Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity group as Special Counsel. This role is designed for an attorney with a strong foundation in complex deals who is ready to step into a client-facing, senior-level position with growth potential.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• At least 8 years of legal experience, with a minimum of 5 recent years focused on M&A and private equity

• Demonstrated ability to lead transactions independently from LOI/term sheet to close

• Expertise advising both corporate clients and private equity sponsors across acquisitions, joint ventures, minority investments, and other strategic transactions

• Strong command of corporate law, with practical judgment on when to loop in partners or specialists

• A collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on client service and business development

Qualifications:

• JD from an ABA-accredited U.S. law school

• Admitted and in good standing with the New York Bar

• Outstanding academic credentials and communication skills

• Prior experience at a leading Am Law firm (top 50 preferred)
