We are looking for a Sr. Mgr. Cloud Technolgiesto join our Software and Digital Platforms Group in Massachusetts, USA.

About the Role

As Sr. Mgr. Cloud Technologies, you will define and execute the software vision for Analog Devices' Digital Healthcare and Emerging Business units. You'll lead the development of cutting-edge cloud and embedded systems that power next-generation medical devices and digital health solutions, ensuring they meet the highest standards for security, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

This is a strategic leadership role where you'll build and scale world-class engineering teams while partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver software solutions that improve patient outcomes and advance healthcare innovation. You'll bring deep experience developing consumer-facing medical device software, with a keen understanding of how to balance clinical requirements with exceptional user experience.

What You'll Do

• Partner with executive leadership, product management, and business stakeholders to translate healthcare market needs into compelling software strategies and roadmaps

• Define the technical vision and architecture for secure, scalable, and compliant software solutions across cloud and embedded platforms

• Drive innovation in digital health technologies while ensuring alignment with medical device regulations and healthcare data privacy standards (HIPAA, GDPR, FDA requirements)

Team Building & Management

• Build, mentor, and scale high-performing, globally distributed engineering teams including architects, full-stack developers, embedded engineers, QA, and DevOps professionals

• Foster a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement

• Identify skill gaps and make strategic hiring decisions to strengthen organizational capabilities

Technical Execution

• Oversee end-to-end software development lifecycle from architecture through deployment and maintenance

• Lead complex system integration initiatives with healthcare ecosystem partners, EHR systems, and medical device manufacturers

• Champion modern software practices including microservices, SaaS architectures, CI/CD, and cloud-native development

• Ensure software solutions meet stringent medical device quality standards and cybersecurity requirements

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with hardware engineering, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, and clinical teams to ensure seamless product integration

• Collaborate with IT, finance, and business operations to ensure scalability and business continuity

• Communicate technical strategies and progress effectively to both technical teams and executive leadership

• Partner with UX/UI designers, clinical specialists, and human factors engineers to create intuitive, accessible software for diverse patient populations

What You Bring

• Master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related field

• 10+ years of progressive software development experience with increasing leadership responsibility

• 7 + years leading complete software development lifecycles from concept to production

• 5+ years developing and launching consumer-facing medical device software or patient-facing digital health applications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)

• 5+ years managing large, globally distributed engineering teams

• Proven track record building and scaling full-stack engineering organizations

Technical Expertise

• Deep expertise in enterprise software architecture across business, application, data, security, and infrastructure domains

• Strong knowledge of IoT platforms, web services, mobile technologies, and modern software development practices

• Demonstrated experience implementing microservices architectures, SaaS solutions, and distributed systems

• Experience with both agile and waterfall methodologies in regulated environments

• Understanding of medical device software development standards (IEC 62304, ISO 13485) is highly desirable

Additional Information

Travel: Up to 10% domestic and international travel

Location: Wilmington, MA

Reports to: Vice President, End Market Software Solutions

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $153,000 to $229,500.
  • Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location , experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
  • This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
