The Senior Manager,Sales Learning & Development (L&D) will play an integralrole within the Oncology Franchise primarily supporting Hematologyand Neuro Oncology Business Units. This individual will beresponsible for partnering cross-functionally to develop andexecute L&D strategy and tactics in support of our oncologyfranchise. They will serve as a strategic leader andexperienced L&D professional, reporting directly to theDirector, Oncology Learning &Development.
This role is alsoaccountable for fostering a high-performance culture by designingand delivering impactful learning experiences that elevateindividual and team capabilities, drive accountability, and supportexcellence in execution across the fieldforce.
EssentialFunctions/Responsibilities
Developsand executes Hematology and Neuro Oncology learning strategy forcommercial field sales in collaboration with Jazz sales andmarketingleadership.
Determines andrecommends the most effective approaches to meet the product andclinical acumen learning needs of the business including launch,onboarding, reinforcement, and sustainabilitytraining.
Designs andimplements annual Sales & Clinical Learning & Developmentstrategy, goals, and objectives to deepen the sales and clinicalacumen of our field teams—aligned to Brand Strategy and identifiedBusiness Unit needs working closely with SalesLeadership.
Applies advancedinstructional design and adult learning principles to enhancecontent delivery.
Leveragesand shares best practices, new principles, and concepts across allbrands/products.
Serves as astrategic business partner (i.e., proactive solutions) tocross-functionalpartners.
Performs detailedneeds assessments (gap analysis) in coordination with SalesLeadership, US Learning & Development partners, Marketing, andother Business Operations teams to successfully elevate the skilllevel of the intendedaudiences.
Translatesbusiness needs into learning products/programs and continuouslyenhances the clinical and business acumen of thelearner.
Facilitatesonboarding, core, and advanced training classes—highly skilled atboth in-person and virtualfacilitation.
Collaborateswith the Instructional Designer to implement metrics that measuretraining impact and effectiveness, and adapts programs based oninsights.
Proactivelyidentifies and distributes relevant educational resources whileadhering to legal and regulatoryguidelines.
Frequentlycollaborates with cross-functional partners (Sales, Marketing,Market Access, Regulatory, Medical, Compliance) to ensureconsistency and effectiveness of learningprograms.
Demonstratesleadership and serves as a consultant to Business Unit Leadershipin long-range planning, brand planning, and productlaunches.
Manages vendorprojects and relationships, as well as product budgets andforecasting on time and withinbudget.
Models ethics andcompliance through all activities andinteractions.
RequiredKnowledge, Skills, andAbilities
7+ yearsof specialty pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience, preferablyin sales, learning & development, ormarketing.
L&D orteaching experience required, including mastery of implementingadult learning principles into all learning assets and experiencewith distance learning and LMSplatforms.
Active membershipin LTEN and/or ATDpreferred.
Demonstratedability to innovate and be aproblem-solver.
Oncologyexperience is required; sales training launch experience ispreferred.
Prior clinicalexperience in oncology (e.g., Nursing, Pharmacy, NP, PA-C) ishighly preferred.
Thrives incollaborative, change-drivenenvironments.
Proven abilityto deliver clinical acumen programs using adult learningprinciples.
Strongcompetencies in needs assessment, facilitation, prioritization,decision-making, collaboration, virtual delivery, planning,implementation, and digitalliteracy.
Ability to travelup to 30% within theUS.
Required/PreferredEducation andLicenses
Bachelor’sdegree is required.
MBA,Master's and/ or Education degreespreferred.
Advanced degreepreferred.

JazzPharmaceuticals, Inc. is committed to fair and equitablecompensation practices and we strive to provide employees withtotal compensation packages that are market competitive. For thisrole, the full and complete base pay range is: $148,000.00 -$222,000.00
Individual compensation paid withinthis range will depend on many factors, including qualifications,skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, and other pertinentfactors. The goal is to ensure fair and competitive compensationaligned with the candidate's expertise and contributions, withinthe established pay framework and our Total Compensationphilosophy. Internal equity considerations will also influenceindividual base pay decisions. This range will be reviewed on aregular basis.
At Jazz, your base pay is only onepart of your total compensation package. The successful candidatemay also be eligible for a discretionary annual cash bonus orincentive compensation (depending on the role), in accordance withthe terms of the Company's Global Cash Bonus Plan or IncentiveCompensation Plan, as well as discretionary equity grants inaccordance with Jazz's Long Term Equity IncentivePlan.
