Senior Site Reliability Engineer – Chicago, IL. Working remotely within the US allowed. Design infrastructure, networking & software platform architecture. Define platform guidelines, requirements & processes while considering DevOps methodology. Build & maintain: infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code tools; auditable delivery of infrastructure definition & changes; automation of Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment pipelines; Developer Experience & Productivity initiatives service catalogs & service maturity; the application platform used by all engineering teams; multiple Kubernetes clusters. Design, develop & maintain core systems using common programming languages. Build & maintain internal tooling used by all engineering teams. Troubleshoot infrastructure, internal applications, networking & security issues. Conduct security risk assessments, vulnerability scans, VPNs, tests. Utilize Linux; Python, Go, JavaScript, Shell script. Reqs: Bach in CS, Comp Engg, or IT. 2 yrs exp in job offered or as Reliability Engineer, Cloud Engineer, Software Engineer or related.
