About the Opportunity

Are you an experienced Staff or Senior Accountant looking to join a modern, people-first public accounting firm that values work-life balance as much as professional excellence? This is an exceptional opportunity for a CPA or CPA-eligible professional who wants to do meaningful, client-facing work—without the long hours or burnout often found in traditional firms.

This firm takes pride in being flexible, forward-thinking, and family-oriented, offering reduced annual hours, a hybrid work schedule, and competitive pay and benefits that rank among the top 25% in the industry.

True Work-Life Balance:

Enjoy Fridays off for 37 weeks of the year, plus a manageable workload of just 1,904 hours annually—far below typical public accounting demands.

Hybrid Work Flexibility:

Once trained, you’ll have the flexibility to work part of the week remotely while maintaining meaningful client and team interaction.

Excellent Compensation & Benefits:

Competitive salary and benefits package within the top quartile of the market, with the flexibility to tailor the position around your strengths and career goals.

Stability & Growth:

Work for a firm that values long-term relationships, mentorship, and giving every employee a voice. Your ideas matter here.

  • Perform bookkeeping, payroll, and QuickBooks-related work as needed
  • Conduct tax planning and compliance for small business clients
  • Work directly with clients to provide proactive financial insights and solutions
  • Collaborate with partners and staff in a small, close-knit team environment

  • CPA or CPA eligible (preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience preparing small business and individual tax returns
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks and modern accounting software
  • Strong communication, organizational, and technology skills
  • A professional who values autonomy, accuracy, and team collaboration

What Makes This Different

This isn’t your typical accounting grind. You’ll have the freedom and flexibility to do your best work, serve clients who genuinely appreciate what you do, and still have time to live your life outside of work.
