By utilizing the latest technology and investing in the development of our people, United has experienced continued growth since our inception in 1973. We currently operate out of over 40 branches across the nation and are looking to expand our footprint into more locations soon.

Due to company growth we are now seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for leading daily operations such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties.

  • Ideally, you will be able to establish and scale company accounting and finance operations

  • Contribute to the preparation of GAAP financial statements through data analysis, document preparation, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes

  • Work closely with accounting management to create relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics and statistical reports, and key financial metrics

  • Assemble various technical accounting policies, procedures, and analyses

  • Possessing a knowledge of compliance, licensing, sales and business tax is valuable

The salary range for this position is between $56-66k.



Senior Accountant Qualifications:

  • Data Analysis experience
  • Strong familiarity with balance sheet reconciliations
  • 3-5+ years accounting experience
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • Leadership ability to mentor junior staff and collaborate across departments
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas)
  • Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as QuickBooks
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently
