The unique approach of our firm integrates the services of a multi-family office with those of a traditional tax firm, providing comprehensive financial coaching across various aspects of clients' businesses, portfolios, and financial matters.
Majority of our clients are entrepreneurs, with a net worth of $50M to $500M dollars. This is why having Ultra High Net Worth Individual Tax Planning, Preparation, Review & Compliance is vital.
Because of our growth, we are looking for a Manager, Senior Manager or Director level accountant to hit the ground running.
Responsibilities
-Lead the review of complex tax returns, with a focus on Ultra/High Net Worth Individuals, Trust, Estate, Gift & NFP.
-Oversee tax compliance and ensure timely filing of all federal, state, and local tax returns.
-Advise clients on tax-saving strategies, including tax planning, structuring, and compliance for businesses and individuals.
-Remotely Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and oversight on client projects.
-Stay current with changing tax regulations and ensure clients are aware of potential impacts on their financial strategies.
-Develop and maintain strong client relationships by offering proactive tax advice and fostering trust.
-Collaborate with the financial planning and asset management teams to provide integrated services and ensure all financial aspects of clients' needs are met.
-Provide support for tax audits and inquiries by tax authorities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's is preferred).
- Active CPA Certification
- 7+ years of recent experience in tax accounting or public accounting.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws, with proven experience in tax planning and compliance.
- Leadership and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple clients and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction.
- Proficiency in tax software and accounting systems.
