                            The Sentinel Firm, APC is a plaintiff's law firm based in Los Angeles, specializing in employment law. Our 16 attorney firm is growing very rapidly, and the right candidate will have unique advancement opportunities. In short, if you end up being a star, you will advance quickly and your long-term prospects will be tremendous. We are looking to immediately hire a junior associate attorney for our wage and hour class action department.
We place a huge emphasis on attorney growth and happiness. No one in our office will be barking orders at you, and everyone has a pretty awesome personality. We give our associates real responsibilities, and the attorneys for these positions will be trained to soon manage their own cases under the supervision of one of the senior attorneys. We are looking for someone that can grow with the firm.
Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Class Action Associate to join our team. As a member of our firm, you will have the opportunity to represent victims of wage theft on a classwide basis as it relates to unpaid overtime, meal and rest breaks, unreimbursed expenses and more. You will play a pivotal role in providing legal counsel, drafting legal documents, taking/defending depositions and advocating for our clients both in and out of the courtroom. This is the perfect opportunity to get experience and exposure in state and federal plaintiffs-side class action litigation against regional, national, and Fortune 500 companies in multiple industries. You will truly be fighting for the little guy.

Salary and Benefits:
Salary for this position is based on experience, within the range of $100,000 to $130,000 annually, in addition to year-end bonuses. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer the following benefits:

Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
 - Active member of the California State Bar in good standing.
 - 0 to 2 years of experience practicing employment law, with a focus on wage and hour class action / PAGA cases. If you have more than this relevant experience, we still want to talk to you. Those who have taken the July bar exam and are waiting for results will be considered.
 - Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
 - Demonstrated ability to handle a caseload independently and meet deadlines.
 - Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
 - This position is 100% in-person at our brand new downtown Los Angeles office.
 
Salary and Benefits:
