Job Description

Experienced Server Wanted — You will be going home with at least $50 an hour based on previous payrolls. 

Stoa is a wine bar and market in Marina del Rey inspired by the slow pleasures of the Mediterranean — good wine, honest food, and meaningful conversation. We’re looking for a highly experienced server who can bring a sense of grace, efficiency, and professionalism to our service team.

This is not an entry-level role. We’re looking for someone who can handle multiple tables with ease, anticipate guest needs, and maintain composure during busy nights while delivering thoughtful, attentive service.

You should be able to:

  • Confidently manage 5–7 tables in a composed, efficient manner

  • Run your own food, mark tables properly, and buss as needed

  • Maintain detailed knowledge of our wine list, menu, and daily specials

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with both guests and the team

  • Deliver a guest experience that feels calm, genuine, and refined

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of full-service restaurant experience (wine bar or upscale casual preferred)

  • Strong situational awareness — you notice what needs to be done without being told

  • Punctual, team-oriented, and self-motivated

Compensation:

Servers at Stoa typically earn $30–$40 per hour with tips, depending on performance and shift volume.
