*Description*

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer with deep expertise in building and customizing ServiceNow Service Portals. This role is critical to delivering intuitive, responsive, and accessible user experiences that align with business needs and enhance overall platform functionality. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical skills with a keen eye for design and usability, ensuring that portals are not only functional but also visually engaging and compliant with accessibility standards.

As a ServiceNow Developer, you will lead the design and development of custom portal solutions, integrate external systems, and optimize performance across the platform. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, architects, and other developers to translate complex requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions. This position offers an opportunity to work in an Agile environment, contribute to architectural decisions, and set development standards that drive innovation and consistency.

Key Responsibilities
* Architect and develop custom ServiceNow Service Portals using modern web technologies
* Build responsive, accessible portal widgets using AngularJS, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap
* Implement complex business logic through client scripts, server scripts, and UI policies
* Design and develop custom themes and branding for portal experiences
* Integrate ServiceNow portals with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs and middleware
* Optimize portal performance, accessibility (WCAG 2.1), and security
* Lead technical design sessions and provide architectural guidance
* Conduct and participate in peer code reviews
* Create and maintain technical documentation and development standards
* Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning

*Additional Skills & Qualifications*

* 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience
* 3+ years specifically with ServiceNow Service Portal development
* ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) preferred
* Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript, AngularJS (1.x), HTML5, CSS3
* Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and data model
* Proficiency in REST/SOAP web services and API integration
* Knowledge of UI/UX best practices and responsive design principles
* Experience with version control systems (Git, Azure DevOps)

*Pay and Benefits*
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
