Join Our GME Psychiatry Team Parkview Health
is seeking Board-Certified General Psychiatrists to join our Parkview Behavioral Health Institute and
GME Psychiatry Residency Program
in Fort Wayne, Indiana, as we work to meet the growing mental health needs in our community. Specifics of The Role: Schedule : Monday - Sunday, 12-hour shifts In-patient consultations and rounding We serve a diverse patient population, including
children, adolescents, adults , and
geriatric adults Psychiatry Core Faculty Requirements: Provide high quality, evidence-based, and equitable care to all patients. Provide daily teaching to residents on service. This can take several forms: bedside teaching, in-the-moment feedback, informal teaching during rounds, reviewing patient cases, interdisciplinary team meetings, and family meetings. Formal supervision totaling 1 hour per week Provide graduated supervision to residents by seeing every patient seen by a resident. For each rotation with a resident, complete a CSV together and complete the resident evaluation. Maintain a high degree of professionalism and integrity. Ensure compliance and maintain active status with PPG Specific didactic and administrative requirements: Participate in 2 residency-related committees: CCC (q6 months), PEC (q4 months), admissions (3-4 times during interview season), QI (monthly) Attend monthly faculty meetings Participate in at least 4 interview days annually (Oct-Dec) Serve as a module leader for at least 2 didactic modules Teach at least 12 hours of psychiatry residency didactics annually Participate in at least one scholarly project or activity yearly with a trainee and/or independently Serve as faculty leader for resident journal club as needed (each resident class will have one leader) Attend monthly case conferences, grand rounds, M&M. Present at least one (case conference, GR, M&M) annually About our Team: Our collaborative team includes General, Adult, and Child & Adolescent Psychiatrists, along with Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners. intensive outpatient treatment

partial hospitalization
at several facilities The psychiatric hospital is licensed for 120 beds, consisting of 16 beds for
children , 18 beds for
adolescents , 37 beds for
adults , 18
intensive care adult
beds, and a 20-bed unit dedicated to
older adult patients Starting Sept 2026, we will have a total of 98 beds across PBHI consisting of 16 low acuity adult beds at Park Center and 82 beds at Parkview Randallia/PBH which consist of 24 adolescent and 58 adult beds. Parkview Health was named to the
