Position Summary: TheShipping Clerk is responsible for tracking and tracing all LeafHome shipments. The Shipping Clerk’s key responsibility will bemaking sure Leaf Home’s internal partners are promptly notified ofimpending shipments. Additionally, they will play a key role inscheduling freight for pickup, preparing shipping documents, andmaintaining internal information as needed.

Essential Duties andResponsibilities:

• Track and trace all Leaf Homeshipments.
• Build shipments in our internalsystems and select the best mode/carrier.
• Issuefreight arrival notices to internal and external locations throughreports and software.
• Issue parcel arrivalnotices to internal locations throughreports.
• Prepare and proof shipping documentsas required.
• Inform management of ongoingperformance issues
• Assist the TransportationSupervisor, Warehouse Specialists, and other team members whenneeded.
• Send transportation vendors weeklyshipping schedules.
• Communicate withtransportation vendors as needed.
• Managelocation addresses and accessorial needs throughout software/excelas needed.
• Update consignee information insoftware asneeded. 
• Performsother duties as assigned by supervisor.

Experience and MinimumQualifications:

• Highschool diploma orequivalent. 
• Well-developed organizationalskills with an ability to handle multiple tasks & deadlinessimultaneously.
• Must possess demonstratedcustomer service skills and ability.
• Ability tojuggle various work activities and shift their attention from onetask to another to meet the demands of different stakeholderswithout “dropping the ball.”
• Ability to thrivein a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment and have a“roll up your sleeves” and “win every day” mentality.
• Hold oneself accountable and responsible whilebeing self-driven in accomplishing goals.
• Detail-oriented and can focus on the task athand by finding the most efficient and effective pathway tocompletion.
• Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills at all levels to communicate with internal andexternal stakeholders articulately.
• Ability tologically connect ideas, scrutinize and evaluate arguments, findinconsistencies and errors in work, solve complex problems, andengage in reflection.
• Ability to providetimely and empathetic service through all communication channelskeeping peer and customer needs first.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite(Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and/or Access).
• Must be legally authorized to work in thecountry of employment without sponsorship for employment visastatus (e.g., H1B status).

 Preferred Knowledge, Skills,Abilities, or Certifications:

• 1+ years of Transportation experience.
• Certification or equivalent in Transportationor Logistics management. 

TravelRequirements:

•  Notravel required. 

Overtime/Additional HoursRequirements:

• May berequested to work overtime on evenings and weekends dependent onbusiness need.  

Physical Requirements:

• Normal office environment. 
• Performs indoor work in a climate-controlledenvironment. 
• Sedentary work. Exerting upto 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount offorce frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull orotherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary workinvolves sitting most of the time.
