Job Description

The Showroom & Strategic Account Coordinator supports the efforts to develop sales force effectiveness and support functions essential to sales force productivity and is responsible for providing overall support for the Los Angeles, CA Showroom. These efforts include, but are not limited to planning, reporting, tracking key performance metrics, scheduling appointments.

In addition, as a key member of the Commercial Food Service Team, the position will also be called upon to work effectively with important internal roles/functions such as Customer Service, Strategic Account Team, Restaurant Team, Operations, Supply Chain, etc.

Finally, the position supports the Strategic Account Team and Sales Leadership Team, as needed. In such a capacity, there will be times when the position will also help facilitate sales to new and existing customers

Qualifications

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Facilitate the sales process by supporting our Field Selling Team.
    • Working directly with Field Sellers in a support capacity.
    • Working closely with Senior Director of Strategic Accounts as well as the Strategic Account Coordinators and Strategic Account Manager(s). 
  • Assist and facilitate showroom meetings in the LA Showroom as needed.
  • Ordering samples for the LA Showroom, as needed.
  • Arranging the product display to coincide with company standards.
  • Support Senior Level Sales Management team in Key Account Interactions.
  • Work with the Senior Director of Strategic Accounts to help foster an environment of ongoing learning. 
  • Actively participate in meetings and day-to-day communication with Key Accounts customers. 
  • Track and manage leads and opportunities of the Sales Department Key Accounts, including new build and renovation pipelines.
  • Assist with industry and market research to help sales management in identifying, analyzing and establishing ROI potential for new and existing customers and channels. 
  • Be able to interact with all disciplines of the organization (Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, IT, Marketing, etc.). 
  • Utilize / Champion project management tools to track and manage sales leads and opportunities. 
  • Help coordinate sales functions (planning, addressing questions from Field Sellers, follow-up, execution, etc.). 
  • Help track sales performance and opportunity (using NetSuite, Sales Force and otherwise). 
  • Help manage information to inside sales team and Field Sales Team. 
  • Enforcement of data integrity and process flow. 
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the CFS Team, and across the organization. 
  • Attend company-sponsored tradeshows and other company events as needed: i.e. some travel may be required. 
  • Attend and participate in product training and other training as required. 
  • Keep informed of new products, services, market trends/developments, etc. 
  • All other duties as assigned. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED). 
  • Bachelor Degree strongly preferred. 
  • At least three - five years’ experience in a strong inside sales, sales support, customer service, highly customer-facing, or similar environment. 
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). 
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures of organizing and inputting customer information and orders.   
  • Team-first mentality, with individual accountability (“do-what-it-takes” attitude). 
  • Reliable and trustworthy. 
  • Excellent follow-through and strong attention to detail. 
  • A sense of proactive competitive urgency.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Ability to travel independently within company headquarters and in other communities to attend various meetings with independent Field Sellers, customers, and prospects. 
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time.   
  • The Team member frequently is required to reach with hands and arms.  The Team member must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.   
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus as necessary to read a computer monitor, catalogs, orders, price lists and customer communications, etc.   

MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Ability to work under stress, interruptions and tight deadlines. 
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret print media, trade publications and websites that are in English.   
  • Ability to effectively establish rapport, present information, and respond to questions from supervisors, customers and sales staff.   
  • Ability to prioritize work, solve problems, and answer questions. 

ESSENTIAL TECHNICAL SKILLS: 

  • Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing, in the English language, as this is essential to communicating information to supervisors, coworkers and customers in a way that they can understand. Must be able to communicate in a knowledgeable manner on various Zwiesel Fortessa products/services, and sell to prospective customers. 
  • Ability to operate office equipment, phone system. 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft software including MS Outlook, Internet Explorer, MS Excel. 

INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: 

  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with the Field Sales Team, co-workers, customers, and prospects to provide sales administrative support. 



Additional Information

Position open to all US residents legally authorized to work in the US. 

Full-time position (40-hour work week); 8-hour shift Monday through Friday.
