In a standard work week, associates may work up to one remote “flex day” (with leader approval). About the Job
The Site Merchandiser (Cross-site) is essential in translating and implementing merchandising and Digital strategy into the online & App shopping experience. The Site Merchandiser will be responsible for executing fundamental aspects that create the functionality of the e-commerce business and driving customer-centric experiences to grow their respective business. The person in this position will work closely with Buying, Marketing and Canadian Digital teams to enhance and merchandise the online assortment, elevate key events, and deliver a seamless customer journey for owned programs on web and App. The successful candidate:
- Manages day-to-day responsibilities of the App and Services site, inclusive of publishing content, analyzing and acting upon business trends, and site maintenance.
- Serves as subject matter expert to round table partners
- Collaborate with enterprise owners & contributors of key digital initiatives
- Accountable for the delivery of new capabilities, seeking to gain a clear understanding of the capabilities and processes for implementation
- Analyze reporting to identify performance trends, high level results against KPIs, insights, and recommendations for future activations
- Communicate results to the organization and use the information to drive digital merchandising tactics
- Works with Marketing partners to ensure clarity of messaging and end-to-end landing experience is optimized for all marketing vehicles that strengthen customers to site
- Supports and assists with key E-Commerce initiatives, IT projects, presentations, reports or any other assigned tasks
- Work closely with cross functional team to create new digital experiences which fulfill PetSmart’s “Anything for Pets” promise

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors degree in Business, Merchandising, Marketing or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of Merchandising, Digital Marketing, E-Commerce or Analyst experience
