Small Animal Veterinarian at Slate Creek Animal Hospital

We’re looking for a small animal or small/equine veterinarian to join our positive, collaborative, and laid-back team!

Slate Creek Animal Hospital, located in the beautiful Sierra Nevada foothills just 20 minutes from Folsom, CA, offers the perfect blend of small-town charm and convenient access to city amenities.

This position is primarily small animal, with the option to see large animal patients if desired. We offer a flexible schedule of 3–5 days per week, with clinic hours from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Saturday. Saturday shifts are not required, allowing for excellent work-life balance and scheduling flexibility. Our supportive, low-drama workplace is filled with exceptional staff who work seamlessly together and genuinely care about one another, our clients, and their pets.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary range: $95,000–$165,000 per year, depending on experience and number of days worked (salary negotiable)
