Sodexo Pipeline at Manpower

Our client is hiring a Food Service Worker to join their kitchen team! You’ll help prepare and serve meals for students, ensuring a positive dining experience. Some food service experience is a plus.

Location: Albany

Pay Range: $16.50

Position Summary

The Food Service Worker performs a variety of tasks in preparing, serving, and maintaining food service operations. You’ll be responsible for helping with food prep, serving customers, operating a register or POS system, and keeping a clean, safe workspace.

• Prepare and serve food and beverages according standards and recipes

• Set up and restock service areas, beverage stations, and condiment bars

• Operate cash register/POS system, handle transactions accurately, and provide friendly customer service

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and dining spaces

• Follow all food safety and hygiene guidelines (including temperature logs and labeling)

• Assist with dishwashing, cleaning, and waste removal as needed

• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth service

• Perform other related duties as assigned by management

• Previous food service or customer service experience preferred, but not required — training provided

• Ability to follow directions and safety procedures

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods

• Availability to work varied shifts, including some evenings, weekends, or holidays
