Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar PV Installer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong understanding of solar technology, electrical systems, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation: Install solar panels, inverters, and associated electrical equipment according to industry standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and maintenance of installed systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Electrical Work: Conduct electrical work, including wiring and connections, while adhering to local, state, and national codes.
• System Testing: Test systems post-installation to ensure they are functioning correctly and efficiently.
• Site Assessment: Assist with site assessments and measurements to determine optimal system design and installation locations.
• Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers to explain system operations and maintenance requirements.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members, including project managers and electricians, to complete installations on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in solar energy systems or electrical work preferred.
• Experience as a solar PV installer or in a related field is a plus.
• Knowledge of solar energy systems, electrical systems, and local building codes.
• Familiarity with tools and equipment used in solar installation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• OSHA certification or willingness to obtain.
