A well-known restaurant group in the Sumter, SC area is looking for its next talented Sous Chef! If you have experience working in a scratch, full-service kitchen and excel at leading teams, we want to speak with you!
This position will require relocation to Sumter, SC and will come with assistance.

Sous Chef Requirements & Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as a Sous Chef in a full-service, scratch kitchen
- Hands-on leadership style with the ability to work directly with kitchen staff to uphold food quality, consistency, and presentation
- Strong communication and team leadership skills
- Proven ability to control food and labor costs within budget
- Experience assisting with kitchen staffing, scheduling, and administrative duties
- Track record of enforcing kitchen cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Ability to maintain staff accountability and uphold restaurant standards
- Solid understanding of inventory, cost management, and daily kitchen operations
Sous Chef Preferred Background & Skills:
- Culinary degree or formal training
- Experience in chef-driven, high-volume restaurants
- Exposure to seasonal menu development and diverse culinary styles
- Familiarity with restaurant inventory and scheduling platforms
- Background in staff training and team development
