JUA is a new wood fired Korean Restaurant in Flatiron District. This restaurant is the first project by former executive chef Hoyoung Kim from Three Michelin Starred Jungsik. We are looking for passionate and dedicated hospitality professionals.

    • Sous Chef 

Qualifications And Requirement

  • Advanced knife handling skills
  • Menu/recipe development
  • An understanding of Department of Health Food Safety Standards
  • Food cost optimization
  • Punctuality is a must 
  • Ability to lead a team successfully in a culture-driven environment including staff education, family meal, and strong communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills 
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn 
  • At least 4 years of experience in casual and fine dining.
  • A strong sense of urgency and work ethic
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining composure and being respectful
  • Flexible schedule is require
  • Knowledge of Korean cuisine is a plus
