Host / Hostess – Opening Position
Location: Upper East Side, Upscale-Casual Italian Restaurant
Availability: Immediate
Description: Be the welcoming face of our new restaurant on the Upper East Side. We’re looking for a warm, professional Host/Hostess who can set the tone for an outstanding guest experience from the very first “hello.”
What You’ll Do:
- Greet guests upon arrival, manage reservations and waitlists with poise, seat guests and coordinate with servers and front-of-house team.
- Provide information on the restaurant, help manage the flow of the dining room, assist with guest requests and first impressions.
- Maintain front-of-house area, support team in creating a welcoming, stylish environment.
Who You Are: - Previous experience in upscale dining or hospitality is a plus.
- Friendly, polished, excellent communication, comfortable managing busy arrival periods.
Compensation: - Hourly wage (approx. $20–$24/hr) + tips
