Job Description
Sunny's is an award-winning live-fire steakhouse located in the Little River area of Miami. We are currently looking for a sous chef to join our kitchen team. This is a great opportunity for a motivated culinary manager to join a quickly growing company and an excellent team.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen at all times
- Supervising and mentoring the kitchen team
- Executing all menu items from start to finish
- Planning and organizing all food preparation, including daily and weekly prep lists and schedules
- Running an orderly service
- Developing new menu items
- Sourcing and handling the highest quality ingredients
Qualifications
You should have at least 1-2 years of experience as a sous chef/manager in a real kitchen. You must be willing and able to lead by example. You must have a strong work ethic and maintain an extremely clean kitchen. You must be able to hold yourself and the kitchen team to a high standard while maintaining a positive and respectful work environment.
