Job Summary:
The Spa Receptionist at Cannery Pier Hotel & Spa in Astoria, Oregon is responsible for providing excellent customer service to hotel guests and spa clients. This individual will be the first point of contact for guests and must have a positive, professional, and welcoming demeanor. This is a part-time, hourly position with the opportunity for growth within the company.

Compensation & Benefits:

This part-time position offers up to 25 hours per week with a competitive hourly wage, paid semimonthly. In addition to base pay, team members are eligible to earn commissions on retail sales. Employees also enjoy exclusive discounts on spa services and hotel room rates.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests and clients with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and assist with inquiries in a professional manner
- Process spa bookings, payments, and cancellations accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized spa reception area
- Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the spa
- Promote spa services and products to guests and clients
- Follow all safety and health regulations and protocols
- Maintain knowledge of hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to assist guests with recommendations and inquiries

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in a spa or hotel setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficient in using computer systems and booking software
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be passionate about providing exceptional customer service
