Pay Rate: $40.00/hr to $50.00/hr

Birch Agency is actively seeking Special Education Teachers for the upcoming 20252026 school year in and around Joliet, Illinois. We have exciting opportunities available in elementary and middle school settings.

Position Details:

• Job Type: Full-time, school year contract

• Start Date: August 2025

• Locations: Elementary and middle schools near Joliet, IL

• Caseloads: Vary by assignment resource, self-contained, or inclusion classrooms available

• Support: Ongoing support from Birch Agency and school-based teams

Requirements:

• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement

• Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field (Masters preferred)

• Experience working with students with special needs is a plus

• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
