Pay Rate: Starting at $48 per hour

Description:

Birch Agency is hiring a dedicated Special Education Teacher to work with middle school students for the 20252026 school year near Ford Heights, Illinois. The teacher will provide academic and behavioral support in alignment with students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) while fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized lesson plans based on IEP goals

• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families

• Provide accommodations and modifications to meet diverse learning needs

• Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring

Requirements:

• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Special Education endorsement

• Experience working with middle school students preferred

• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
