Position Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Special Education Teachers to join our team and support students with diverse learning needs. Whether working in preschool, elementary, middle, or secondary school settings, you will play a vital role in helping students achieve academic, social, and life skills success. Key Responsibilities
· Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs.
· Teach core academic subjects, life skills, and social-emotional strategies using specialized instructional techniques.
· Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and growth.
· Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to ensure cohesive support.
· Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed.
· Utilize technology and adaptive tools to enhance learning experiences.
· Promote positive behavior and social interaction through evidence-based strategies.
· Maintain accurate records and comply with all federal, state, and local regulations.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred).
· Valid CA teaching certification in Special Education.
· ECE, Mild-Mod, or Mod-Severe differentiation certification.
· Experience working with students with disabilities (emotional, physical, intellectual, or sensory).
· Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
