The Billing Specialistaccurately compiles the paperwork and billing information necessaryfor the Drivers' Load Packets to be ready at departure time andensures accurate record keeping and receiving customer calls.
Benefits you can count on:
- Payrate: $15.45 to $17.55 per hour, depending on Experience
- Monday-Friday930am-6pm

What you'll doas a Billing Specialist:
- Separates invoices foroffice, customer, and driver.
- Reconcileslineouts via Order Processing, LCS, MARRS system or credit memo,and close loads via Order Processing.
- Verifiestote counts, adjust credits due to lineout, change total figures oninvoices, and adjusts drivers pay sheets.
- Prints and compiles driver load packets withStop and Pay Summary, Load Department Summary, and HazMat Sheets sothat they are ready for departure time.
- Supports DC Management, crew leaders, andinventory control staff as directed.
- Communicates with drivers regarding billingstatus of loads.
- Answers telephone and directcallers.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications you'llbring as a Billing Specialist:
- HS Diploma of GED.
- Data Entry Skills.
- MathSkills.
- Attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- 2 or more years' experience working in aBilling Department.
- This position requires theability to read, write, and understand English at a levelsufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely.This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols,and communications essential to the role. The requirement isdirectly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliancewith workplace safety and operationalstandards.
