Job Summary

The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Sports Club Student Assistant on both the Dahlonega Campus. The Sports Club Student Assistant reports directly to the Coordinator of Sports Clubs and Teams. Sports Club Student Assistants must be knowledgeable of sports rules and regulations, as well as knowledgeable in Sports Club Policies and Procedures. Must posses good oral and written communication skills. Attention to detail. A sports background is preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Attend Sports Club games and events. Assist the Coordinator of Sports Clubs and Teams with administrative duties of Sports Clubs.
  • Meet with the Coordinator of Sports Clubs and Teams as needed.
  • Communicate with various Sports Club Presidents as needed.
  • Record the results from Sports Club games.
  • Assist the Coordinator of Sports Clubs and Teams in reserving fields and locations for the Sports Clubs.
  • Collaborate with Intramural Sports and CRW Staff as need.
  • Any other duties needed by the Coordinator of Sports Clubs and Teams.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Have a general knowledge of a wide variety of sports.
  • Good oral and written skills. A strong work ethic.
  • The ability to adapt to a fast paced environment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate the ability to multi-task.
Required Qualifications
  • Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
  • The student must currently have or be able to obtain a CPR/First Aid certification within one month of employment.
